As it has also has activity against both larval and egg stages it may be an aid in the control of existing flea infestations. The product also has immediate and persistent activity for 5 weeks against Ixodes ricinus and Ixodes hexagonus, the two most common species of ticks found on cats in Ireland*, and 4 weeks protection against Dermacentor reticulatus and Rhicephalus sanguineus.
Monthly application also treats ear mites, lice infestations, adult roundworms, adult hookworm and offers prevention against Dirofilaria immitis.
