The HALTI Training Lead was designed to control, guide, and tether a dog in many situations. Recommended for use with the Halti Headcollar when its lightweight trigger hook is attached to the HALTI. The heavier and stronger trigger hook is then attached to the D-ring of the dog's normal collar, and you can then guide your dog with both hands. One hand acts as a "brake" on the flat collar, the other hand "steers". If you have an over-boisterous, aggressive, or otherwise troublesome dog, the double lead system gives maximum security, especially whilst he is getting used to wearing HALTI.
The HALTI Tactile lead is made from strong , soft polyester fibre, which unlike nylon will not "burn" your hand. Even when wet or in cold weather, the tactile material should still be comfortable and warm to hold. As a conventional lead, note that it can be adjusted between 1 and 2 metre.
