Urinary Tract Health and Supplements for Dogs and Cats.
Urinary tract health is an important issue for dogs and cats, and I do commonly see issues with my dog and cat patients. Preventing issues and maintaining wellness is really important, and I highly recommend pets prone to urinary tract issues take some form of supplementation. These are five of my favourite urinary tract supplements for pets.

CystoPro is also available in capsule form. It supports urinary health with ingredients like cranberry extract, N-acetyl D-glucosamine to strengthen the bladder lining, and additionally contains the probiotic supplement Protexin is famous for, helping supports a healthy intestinal microbiota.
Cystophan is designed specifically for cats, with glycosaminoglycans to support and preserve the protective layer of the bladder, as well as L-tryptophan, which is used in the brain to make serotonin, the happy hormone. The product is available in convenient capsule form, but I'd recommend giving the capsule whole rather than sprinkling on the food, as L-tryptophan can have a strong taste.
Nutracys+ contains a unique triple action combination of N-acetyl D-glucosamine, quercetin, and L-tryptophan to aid healthy urinary tract function.
